What customers say?

“ TLV was a pleasant dining experience. The ambience and artworks were awesome and our booth had nice white curtains for privacy. The hosts were wonderful and accommodating. I ordered the Baba Ganoush and it was presented well and a delicious appetizer to have here. And same goes with the chicken curry. I would love to visit this place any time when I am in town. ”

“ TLV did many things great and a few things were underwhelming. First, my partner and I both really enjoyed the atmosphere. The art, the service, and the music all felt inviting and fun. In terms of being COVID-friendly, I give this restaurant a 5/5. Each booth was surrounded by their own set of curtains, which created private pods for each group of guests. All staff were masked as well. We started the meal with hummus and pita. The hummus looked traditional in presentation topped with zaatar and olive oil, but the hummus itself was underseasoned. Some added salt would go a long way. Next, the hummus came with pita, but the pita was unlike any pita I've had both in my travels to Israel and stateside. It was much like a corner of a loaf of bread as opposed to pita. I ordered the lamb shawarma as my entree. Unfortunately, I ordered it with pita, unaware that the bread wasn't really pita. With that being said, the meat was really delicious and seasoned well. The "pita" was stuffed with lettuce and pickles at the bottom of the loaf and meat on top, so it was difficult to get a bite with everything. I ended up eating all the meat first and then the lettuce and pickles second. Layering this like a sandwich instead of a parfait would have fixed this issue and the use of pita would have likely helped with execution. My partner ordered the stewed brisket on a bed of rice. This dish was the most true to a traditional israeli dish that I tasted all night. The meat and veggies were flavorful, comforting, and filling. If you are coming for a cultural experience in Marietta, I would recommend this dish. Overall, the atmosphere was great, the prices were very fair, and the food was decent. I think this restaurant would offer anyone a fun night out no matter the "pita" falls. ”

“ Hidden gem. The Jewish brisket plate was phenomenal. The curry chicken plate and cheesecake were also quite good. Love the funky unique intimate atmosphere! Chef was really cool and the waitress was a doll. Soooo many other things we want to go back and try. ”
